Camp Services Reach Only Half a Million Displaced Sudanese

Less than one percent of Target Achieved in Key Areas

Khartoum Highlight- A report from the Global camp coordination and camp management(CCCM) Cluster in Sudan revealed that humanitarian efforts since the start of the year have reached only 518,000 internally displaced people, representing 27 percent of the 1.9 million target, despite more than two years of war displacing millions of Sudanese. The Cluster emphasized that these efforts remain limited in the face of growing humanitarian needs, with less than one percent of the target achieved in critical areas, including establishing feedback and complaints mechanisms or implementing referrals to provide essential support for displaced people.

According to the July 2025 report, partners reached 38,454 people in a single month, including 25,193 women (66 percent ) and 13,261 men (34 percent ). Children accounted for 52 percent of beneficiaries, adults 45 percent , and the elderly 3 percent  Partners’ interventions included site mapping and assessments, shelter and infrastructure support for over 25,000 people, and 16 awareness campaigns on health, disaster prevention, and epidemic risks, benefiting thousands of displaced individuals. Additionally, six site management committees were established or supported to enhance community-level governance and accountability.
