Hamdok Discusses Sudan War and Its Catastrophic Impact on Civilians with German Foreign Ministry- Khartoum Highlight –
Chairman of the Civil Democratic Alliance “Somoud”, Dr. Abdalla Hamdok, met with Serap Güler, Minister of State at the German Foreign Ministry. The two discussed the war in Sudan and its devastating consequences, including mass destruction, the killing of hundreds of thousands, and the displacement of millions. Dr. Hamdok stressed that no military solution exists to the conflict. He called for an immediate cessation of hostilities to preserve Sudan’s unity, safeguard its people, and maintain stability across the region. He presented Somoud’s vision for ending the war through a comprehensive process built on three tracks: a ceasefire, humanitarian action, and a Sudanese-led political process.
