Army Drone Strike Kills Tribal Leader and Prominent Figures in North Kordofan- Khartoum Highlight

A drone launched by the Sudanese army targeted a group of tribal leaders in North Kordofan.
The attack killed Prince Suleiman Jaber Jumaa Sahl, chief of Al-Majanin tribe. The drone struck while the leaders were attending a reconciliation meeting in Al-Mazroub area. Several prominent tribal figures were also killed in the strike. The victims included Omda Abu Rakouk, Aboud Haj Mohamed, and Younis Mohamed Ali.
Others killed were Atrees, Khalifa Mufarah, Haj Abu Jemirayeh, and Mohamed Ibrahim Jaber. Also among the victims were Bukhari Mashour Jaber and Nile Ibrahim Jaber. The strike additionally killed Haj Obeid, a senior leader in the Federal Gathering Party in North Kordofan. The incident has caused deep shock and mourning across the region.
