Khartoum Highlight- The United Nations World Food Programme has supported displaced Sudanese women in five states. They Support them by renting farmland and providing seeds. According to WFP, displaced women in Kassala successfully cultivated land, secured food for their families, and sold the surplus in markets. This not only increased their household income. But also helped reduce food prices in local markets across Kassala State. WFP noted that Kassala is one of five states targeted by the project. Which introduces innovative development solutions for displacement-affected communities.
