Minimum Wage must Raise to become 184,680 Sudanese Pounds

Khartoum Highlight- A study by the Sudanese Teachers’ Committee revealed a sharp decline in teachers’ salaries. this leaving education workers in extreme poverty. According to the study, the cost of living for a family of five in Sudan is about 1,652,000 Sudanese pounds. Which  equal to 485 U.S. dollars. In a statement, the committee called for raising the minimum wage to 184,680 Sudanese pounds. It also demanded a 25% education allowance on the basic salary for workers in the sector. The committee urged a review of allowances every six months to keep pace with inflation and price fluctuations.
