Three Sudanese sisters drown : Khartoum Highlight – The German rescue group (ResQship) recovered the bodies of three young Sudanese sisters from a crowded rubber boat. The boat, carrying more than 65 people, was heading toward Italy before being intercepted in international waters. Many passengers were rescued in the Mediterranean Sea, off the Libyan coast, according to the organization’s statement.

The tragedy adds to hundreds of migrant deaths in the Mediterranean, often linked to dangerous irregular sea crossings. The victims, aged between 9 and 17, were traveling with their family when the boat capsized during the journey.
