Somoud Alliance Welcomes “War of Atrocities” Report, Urges Implementation of Recommendations-

The Democratic Civilian Revolutionary Alliance “Somoud” welcomed the latest report of the Independent International Fact-Finding Mission on Sudan, titled “War of Atrocities”. The report documented crimes committed by the warring parties against civilians in Sudan and recommended accountability for individuals and entities responsible for these violations. Somoud called on the Human Rights Council to extend the mandate of the mission and enable it to carry out its work.

The Alliance also urged international and regional institutions to support the mission’s efforts, stressing the importance of implementing the report’s recommendations to protect civilians and end the war. Somoud reaffirmed its full support for the report and its findings, calling for greater backing to ensure the mission fulfills its mandate effectively.
