Severe Water Crisis in Al-Wadi Al-Akhdar East Nile

Khartoum Highlight- The Al-Wadi Al-Akhdar area in East Nile locality has been suffering from a Severe Water Crisis since the outbreak of the war. A resident told Khartoum Highlight that the shortage began on the first day of the conflict. It  continues without any solution. Meanwhile, de facto authorities in Khartoum have intensified calls for citizens to return to the capital, despite worsening hardships. The city faces not only water shortages but also prolonged electricity cuts and widespread disease across most localities of Khartoum.
