Massad Boulos Warns: El Fasher Crisis Requires Urgent Action

Khartoum Highlight- Massad Boulos, senior adviser to U.S. President Donald Trump, voiced alarm over the worsening crisis in El Fasher, North Darfur. He wrote on X: “Immediate action is required from Médecins Sans Frontières to ensure aid reaches people facing famine in the city and surrounding displacement camps, amid escalating violence.”

Humanitarian conditions have sharply deteriorated in ِAl-Dilling, El Fasher, and other parts of western Sudan.  Due to the ongoing siege and the brutal April 15 war between the army and the Rapid Support Forces. International organizations describe it as the world’s largest humanitarian catastrophe.

Massad Boulos added: “Warring parties must honor their commitments under the Jeddah Agreement and comply with UN Security Council Resolution 2736. Including protecting civilians and ensuring unhindered humanitarian access.”
