Dengue Fever and Malaria Spread South of Khartoum

Dengue Fever outbreaks – Khartoum Highlight -Warnings of malaria and Dengue Fever outbreaks have been issued for South Belt areas and parts of Jebel Awlia.  Kababish Emergency Room in southern Khartoum warned  .  It urged residents to visit the nearest health center if symptoms like fever, headache, or joint pain appear. Additionally, citizens were advised to drain stagnant water around homes and wear long clothing, especially in the evening. Since war erupted between Sudan’s army and Rapid Support Forces, infrastructure, environment, and health conditions have severely deteriorated. International organizations now classify this conflict as the planet’s largest humanitarian catastrophe.
