Residents in Block Eight, Um Badda, faced armed robberies by unidentified attackers. Victims were forced to hand over belongings at gunpoint. A local resident told Khartoum Highlight that lack of security worsened fear.
Some families fled to safer areas. He urged authorities to strengthen security presence in the neighborhood.
He also called for psychological and social support for victims.
