A Family Dies in Abu Shouk Camp -Khartoum Highlight

The Emergency Committee at Abu Shouk camp in North Darfur reported the death of an entire family of six. The victims included two grandmothers, a mother, and three children. A Family Dies after consuming animal feed known as (Umbaz). The committee said hunger in the camp has reached its peak.

The North Darfur Emergency Committees Council also warned of worsening humanitarian conditions in El Fasher. Volunteers face hunger and health collapse while continuing to assist those in need. The council noted increasing deaths among children and women caused by starvation and food poisoning. It stressed that the main challenges are malnutrition among volunteers, lack of supplies, and the growing number of deaths among vulnerable groups.
