El-Fasher Tekkiya : Apologizes to Displaced People for Lack of Meals Due to Empty Markets- Khartoum Highlight
El-Fasher Tekkiya (a traditional communal kitchen for feeding the poor) announced suspension of meals today, Saturday, due to food shortages. The Tekkiya apologized to displaced people in shelters for not providing meals, citing the complete lack of food supplies in markets. It added that efforts are underway to secure supplies and resume meal distribution as soon as possible.
