Qatar Calls for Peaceful End to Sudan War

Khartoum Highlight – Qatar urged regional and international efforts to end the war in Sudan through peaceful means. It condemned the attack on World Food Programme trucks in North Darfur. In a statement, the Qatari Foreign Ministry stressed the urgent need to protect humanitarian workers. It also called for sustainable delivery of aid to address the dire humanitarian situation in North Darfur.
