“No to Starvation” Campaign Calls for Urgent Relief in Darfur and South Kordofan
Khartoum Highlight – The women-led campaign “No to Starvation” Launched by Women Against Injustice. They issued an urgent appeal to local and international relief organizations . To free humanitarian response from the grip of war in Darfur and South Kordofan. The campaign “No to Starvation” highlighted the worsening humanitarian crisis in El Fasher, Al-Dilling, and Kadugli. Where civilians face severe food and health shortages due to blocked supplies and halted aid operations.
It urged all stakeholders to act immediately, ensuring the delivery of essential humanitarian assistance to civilians in need. The statement stressed that the ongoing crisis demands rapid and effective intervention to save thousands of innocent lives. Humanitarian conditions in Al-Dilling, El Fasher, and across western Sudan have sharply deteriorated under siege and the brutal April 15 war between the army and the Rapid Support Forces. International organizations have described it as the world’s largest humanitarian catastrophe.
