Babiker Faisal: Islamist threats to Egypt revealed the intentions of the “terrorist movement.”

Those who think there is a moderate current inside the Islamic Movement do not understand the nature of this criminal organization

CAIRO – Khartoum Highlight-  Babiker Faisal, head of the Executive Office of the Federal Gathering and a leader in Sumoud Alliance, said the arrest of “Al-Misbah” — commander of the Al-Baraa militia, one arm of the Sudanese Islamic Movement — along with the media campaign and direct threats to the Egyptian government, reveal violations of regulations and the true nature of the terrorist movement that does not change. The terrorist movement was silent at the start of the war because it was in a “phase of weakness.” Now, its voices rise with threats after reaching a “phase of empowerment” by seizing power and control over military tools in army-held areas.

No Moderate Faction Inside the Movement

Babiker Faisal stressed: “Anyone who thinks there is a moderate current inside the movement.  Who can participate in the political process. Does not know the nature of this criminal organization, whose members exchange roles but agree on the ultimate goal.” He also emphasized in a Facebook post that the Sudanese Islamic Movement’s threats will not be limited to Cairo. They will target any country seeking to stop the war. Including Saudi Arabia, sponsor of the “Jeddah Platform”.  And the recent Salvation regime history with “Major Younis” — referring to Younis Mahmoud, who had a radio program with much criticism of Saudi Arabia and its leadership. Faisal added: “With every day in this war, the satanic movement’s intentions become clear. As its members still chant ‘Let all blood be spilled.’ He stressed, ‘The country has no salvation except by eliminating this criminal terrorist organization.’”
